Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Boardkast platform, operated by Glyphora ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Boardkast, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Boardkast is a white-label live class platform designed for educational institutions, coaching centers, and tutors. It provides live video classes, recordings, attendance tracking, exams, and related educational tools.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an institute account.
  • Student accounts may be created for users under 18 by authorized institute administrators.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Institute administrators are responsible for managing their teachers' and students' accounts.
  • You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform.
  • Redistribute recordings or content without authorization from the content owner.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

5. Subscription & Payments

  • Boardkast offers various subscription plans with different features and limits.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as per the chosen plan.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice.

6. Content Ownership

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create or upload (recordings, materials, exam questions). You grant us a limited license to host and deliver this content through the platform.
  • Platform IP: Boardkast's software, design, and branding are owned by Glyphora. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform.
  • White-Label: Institutes using white-label features may display their own branding. This does not transfer ownership of the underlying platform.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of Boardkast is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Institute administrators are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent to upload student data to the platform.

8. Availability & Support

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
  • Support is available via email at support@boardkast.com.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Boardkast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not responsible for the quality or accuracy of educational content uploaded by institutes or teachers.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Wayanad, Kerala, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.
